Hard to believe it’s been a year since the first ALL HALLOWS READ… But it has, so… deal.
Regardless of how you may feel about the passing of time, ignore your impending doom, join the fun and give a creepy, spooky or … I dunno, freaky book to those you’d normally pass off a box of Nerds. Or hand out both… Love them Nerds.

Hey all!
It’s been a nutty few weeks and because of this, I haven’t had a ton of time to get a post up. Be that as it may, a creepy, icky feeling that chants “there’s tons of sh!t to do and you ain’t doing any of it” seems to’ve worked itself deep into my noggin’ (as “creepy, icky feelings” often do). Being the determined fighter that I be, I’ve muscled through the funk, doubled my meds 
and BOOM… Here’s a little Edward Scissorhands sketch for yuh.
All in all, I’m not 100% in love with it (especially the background), but hey… it’s better than nothing. Please enjoy.

As for now, I’m busy at work on the scripting portion of the process in terms of Deep Space Tragedy. I’d say that I’m about halfway there (providing I don’t wake up and hate it). Once that’s done, I’ll move into the story boarding portion of the game… That should be cool and I’m very excited to get there.
DST’s still working on getting their record finished, so there’s that. hmmm… Think that’s it.
Okay, I’m gonna bounce and go set the world on fire 
Oh yeah… To any of y’all living on the upper east coast… My thoughts are with you as I understand that several are without power.

Oi!
Just taggin’ back in with all yuh in order to let you in on the hap’s with our favorite robot rock band DEEP SPACE TRAGEDY…
As it stands, the record is in full friggin’ swing… From what I’ve seen (and heard), the bots’ve been burning their processors out, trying to meet their self-imposed dead-line of (place ridiculously ambitious date here) and thus far everything’s moving along according to plan (actuators crossed) . Almost all of the hard-core recording is in the can, but their not up and running yet… As you may already know, DST is a three bot set-up, who until now have giving the job of keeping beat to their collective internal pace maintaining units (and yeah, that would be lame ass, off the cuff robot talk for drum machines). The challenge at the moment is to find juuuuuuusssstttt the right bot to finish things off. Once that’s done, everything’ll need to be mixed, mastered and handed back to be giving to you All I can say for now is that it shouldn’t be long. So uuhhh don’t

As for the issue of the next book and when to expect to see some stuff posted (actual content and not just dorky pin ups), that’s on its way as well… Promise. The low down on that would be this… Deciding that DEEP SPACE TRAGEDY is an idea worth running with, I’ve made the decision to go ahead and write the entire story (at least this particular chapter of it). Sitting down and giving it some thought, it’s come to me (by way of advice) that the story is going to cover the span of about 6 books. At this point, I have the arc established (which is cool) and I have the whole thing broken down into six equal parts. The job for now is to focus on the 1st book and get that all prettied up good and proper.
SO! that’s me (and the bots) for now. Please feel free to hit me with comments, questions or request (seriously… I’m a glutton for piling stuff on my plate as well as the plates of those around me, so ASK ME!) and let me know what your thinking… As stated (maybe, I’m not totally sure), we welcome any and all contact. And oh yeah… Let me just say that (in regards to the music end of things) “Calling on the Airwaves” is MOTHER GRABBIN’ EPIC AS ALL GET OUT… I’m fighting off the urge to send a copy of it (in its current state of incomplete-ness) out to you guys just to get you all hot and BOThered, but I don’t wanna ruin the big reveal… this track kicks so much tail-pipe (quote stolen from Cliffjumper of the Transformers) that I get all quivery and dancy whenever i hear it… just you friggin’ wait!!!

Hey All!!!
I wanted like crazy to get this posted on Friday (the 24th of June) in keeping with a promise to maintain a connection with the webpage and blog and YOU GUYS stuff, but being as I’m often given to bouts of extreme duuhhhh, I ended up having to wait until I could get someone to do it for me (always the princess). Either way, here’s some “art”… i hope you enjoy it.
With this little piece, I’m just basically playing with styles and colors and junk… Wanted to see how DST would look w a more animated, Saturday morning cartoon kind of approach. I for one, dig the hell out of it… The Bassist is waaaaaaaayyyyyyy simpler that usual (and he might be my favorite). The others have a bit more detail and thinner line work going on. Though they aren’t all the same, I feel as though they play well together and it does me ailin’ heart good to see it. The colors were tough as I’ve NEVER really thought of them that way and… it’s just weird… I dig the the purple on Dev. Jerrick could use a little more flash, so i think i might be playing in this vibe for a little while… just to see where it takes me.

Oh yeah! Please join me in welcoming Torreon Martin to the fold… He hit me up via the Facebook last night (or shall i say way friggin’ early this morning). I haven’t had a chance to respond to him, but will be doing so this evening. Torreon and I met at Megacon 2011 and believe it or not, he remembered me, so I’m flattered and honored and looking forward to pushing my robots in his grill all nonstop like… so show him some love, he’s gonna need it.

Hello, everyone!
Just wanted to reach out as I’ve gotten some email’s inquiring as to my whereabouts and I figured that some updates are probably in order… That said, lets get started, shall we?
Actually, let me first say that I’m very VERY sorry for ignoring mikewagganer.com (and y’all) and not posting art. That’s lame and the lameness ends now…
Okay… so… Right out of the gate, I’m really proud to say that I’ve been bowled over with some very cool freelance opportunities that came to me around the same time as Megacon 2011. All of it had to kind of go under the radar for a bit (at the request of the customer), but I’ll soon be able to post it… maybe in the next couple weeks or so, so keep an eye out as I’m stoked about everything I got to do and I can’t wait to share. The whole project was really challenging (and by this, I mean that it sucked up EVERY SINGLE BIT OF EVEN THE SLIGHTEST SHADOW OF “FREE TIME” as well as bringing me waaaaaaaaay outside of my comfort zone). So… cool!
. Okay, as I think most of y’all may already know, I made it a habit (there for a while) of handing out some pretty hefty promises in terms of what to expect from DEEP SPACE TRAGEDY. Frankly, I don’t see myself stopping anytime soon. As it stands, the second book is in the works (this time with a bigger picture in mind)… As far as I can see it (before I’m advised that this is a stupid idea), It’s going to open with DST on “the road” heading “home” from the events that took place in the last book. There’s going to be a bit of an argument surrounding the topic of what needs to be done in regards to their (DST’s) current status as a robot rock band living on a foreign world who’s natives are now being threatened by their (DST’s) presence. Through this exchange, we’ll get to learn more about the Bot’s on a personal level, their motivation and personalities and they’ll each be given an opportunity to sort of speak to their individual goals, dreams, ideals and such (whoa… that’s some churched up BS that probably should’ve been erased prior to my hitting the “post” button… but, oh well). We’re also going to be following up on what’s happened to DOM and Riggit and whether they still function. This exchange will be bringing some new characters into the fold (some of my very favorites in terms of design and blah blah blah) . I also see a few new member coming in to fill out the line up a bit. All of this as well as a look at DST’s home world, it’s history and some of it’s inhabitance… Oh yeah… there might also be an EPIC ASS ROBOTIC BATTLE (to the death) OF THE BANDS … That’s right… A sneaky, shady, underhanded, robot band with their optics trained on DST and yeah, their set list includes A COMPLETE FRIGGIN’ OFF-LINING OF DEEP SPACE TRAGEDY… Sweet, huh? I’m kind of banging my head on walls trying to dream up a slick way to present this to you visually… I wanna get the point across while at the same time, blowing the coolness chart off the wall… If you have any ideas, let me know… If I use it, I’ll draw up a custom DST T-shirt, have it printed just for you (and maybe one for me) and send it to you (on purpose). So hit me back with some ideas… This book (after all) belongs to you and i want you to be a part of it. So… That’s where I am with the story.

I just received a copy of some of the tracks and… OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG, it’s SO DAMN GOOD!!!! I am going crazy with excitement about it… I wanna give you guys details, but i don’twanna dork all over the place spoil anything… I can tell you that there’s a song call “BLACK-LIGHT FREE-FALL, it’s a rocker that has that “all together bad ass, get up and sing LOUD” kind of vibe. There’s another one called CALLING ON THE AIRWAVES (I could be wrong on this… If that’s not the songs title, it should be as that specific line is definitely used in the chorus) and it’s solid as hell… and good. Then there’s 2 more… I don’t know, I don’t wanna say anymore about it because I don’t wanna jinx anything for us, so I’ll kill this line of communication right here… but juuuuuuuusssssssttttttttt yooooouuuuuuu wait.
I don’t know what else to tell you… There’s lots to be excited about (especially if any of this stuff means anything to you). I tell you what… i’m gonna cut this off and get back to work. I promise to do my best to get on here more often and maybe even try and get some copies of some of the production tracks out to you (somehow). I also wanna at least start putting up sketches and doodles and concept pieces… yeah, that would be nice.

One more thing before i go… I really just wanna say how in love I am with DST in terms of their musical ability… I’m completely floored by them regularly and I can’t wait to share this talent with you… SO damn cool…. HUGE HEARTS IN MY EYE… They rock!
